Second Grade News

                     July 2010                                           

Dear Parents and Students,

    We hope your summer is going well and we are looking forward to visiting you.  Miss Huggard and Mrs. Fehr will start home visits on July 20.

    This year Miss Huggard will be in the usual second grade classroom and Mrs. Fehr will have a new classroom in a corner of the fellowship hall. 

    We will be sharing some teaching duties and will trade classes each morning for an hour.  Miss Huggard will teach Math for both classes and Mrs. Fehr will teach reading.  We will share more details with you when we visit.

    A newsletter just like this will come home each Monday this year, and will also be available on the school website.

    Back to School night will be Monday, August 30, at 6:30 and you can bring all your school supplies and see your new room that night.

    The first day of school is Wednesday, September 1.  We will begin with an opening service and all family members are invited.

    We are really looking forward to working together with you and your children this year.  Please feel free to call or e-mail either of us about any questions or concerns.
